Throughout the year, many people, including judges, advisors, alumni, and others inquire as to how they can do more to assist Michigan DECA. This is a wonderful opportunity to help our members in a unique way. Your participation in this outing will raise money for Michigan DECA’s Travel Scholarship Program. This program sponsors in-state competitive events and helps offset costs for student delegates to attend the International Career Development Conference, where they compete against the world’s best marketing students.
Join us at Eagle Crest Golf Club on June 21, 2007. The par 72 course overlooking the picturesque Ford Lake provides any golfing buff with one of the most challenging courses in Southeastern Michigan. The layout of the course - designed by Karl Litten dares both novice and seasoned golfers with several holes bordering the banks of Ford Lake and five scenic but challenging water hazards.. The Eagle Crest Golf Club possesses a USGA course stroke rating of 73.6 and a slope rating of 138 from the championship tees. Eagle Creast Resort is located right off I-94 in Ypsilanti. This is a round of golf you’re sure to enjoy.
If you are not a golfer, you can still participate by attending the banquet, assisting with the outing or sponsoring a tee, a green or an entire hole. No matter how you choose to participate, we hope we can count on your involvement in this event for years to come. It is your support, after all, that makes DECA work.
